Our American rights and freedoms are governed through a legislative process - Understanding that process and being an effective member of society is taught over a lifetime - Yet one semester in high school is the only requirement...
a) Voting (the importance of voting -how to vote - where to vote FIELD TRIP)

c) Involvement: Students must attend a school board meeting every year?
Lets get the students involved in meetings. Get them comfortable with attending school board meetings, village meetings, volunteering locally etc. Lets program our children to be involved.
